In the final course at The Fat Duck – ‘Like a Kid in a Sweetshop’ – we always offer a superlatively and satisfyingly chewy caramel with a classic pie flavour: lemon, pecan, banoffee and sticky toffee pudding. But the twist is that the whole thing is incredibly edible – right down to the wrapper. So these caramels need no preparatory preamble. Just pop the whole thing in your mouth and enjoy.
