During Heston’s delving into historical gastronomy, he discovered that in 1890 Rowntree’s created a bar with beef extract, which naturally made him want to take that meaty idea and remake it for a modern audience by subtly combining chocolate and rich Wagyu.

This is the result – a big, beef-boosted bar that’s deliciously intense and filled with umami.
